Stepping into Sarah and Logan’s winter wonderland wedding felt like entering a snow-kissed fairytale. Their vision of a Winter Wonderland was brought to life at The Venue Chattanooga with elegant icy blues, shimmering whites, and soft fur wraps that gave the day a timeless and ethereal charm. With a delicate dusting of artificial snow, twinkling lights, and lush evergreen details, every element came together to create an atmosphere of pure romance.
The Venue Chattanooga provided the ideal backdrop for their dreamy winter wonderland wedding. The crisp all-white interior, accented by rustic wood tones, allowed their cool-toned color palette to shine. The spacious bridal suite made for a relaxed and joyful morning as Sarah and her bridesmaids prepared in their satin navy blue matching pj’s, perfectly coordinated with the overall theme. Outside, the venue’s picturesque mountain views added a natural grandeur, enhancing the wintery ambiance of the day.
One of the most breathtaking moments of the day was Sarah and Logan’s first look, made even more enchanting with the addition of a snow machine. We don’t get a lot of snow in Chattanooga, so Sarah was not leaving it to chance! Against the venue’s stone fireplace, Sarah tapped Logan on the shoulder as flurries swirled around them, creating a scene straight out of a winter wonderland wedding dream. Their heartfelt letter exchange added an extra layer of emotion, making it an intimate and cherished moment before the whirlwind of the ceremony began.
Sarah and Logan both agreed that opting for a first look was the best decision they made. It gave them a private, meaningful moment together before the ceremony, allowing them to soak in their emotions and ease any nerves.
The ceremony space was transformed into an enchanted winter wonderland wedding scene with snow-dusted trees, glowing candlelit aisles, and an elegant wooden cross framed by evergreens. As a devoted Wizard of Oz fan, Sarah carefully curated the music selections, beginning with Over the Rainbow (Violin Instrumental by Alan Ng) for the processional, setting a nostalgic and emotional tone. The bridal party followed, walking to Lover (Violin & Piano Wedding Version by Paul Hankinson Covers & Clara Tietz), before Sarah made her grand entrance with her father to Here Comes the Bride by Starsound Orchestra.
Their unity ceremony, accompanied by Send My Love by Kristoffer Wallin, was an emotional highlight, symbolizing the blending of their lives. As they exited, joy radiated through the room while This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole played, capturing the celebratory energy of the moment.
Sarah and Logan’s reception was a perfect balance of cozy winter charm and high-energy celebration. Guests were welcomed with a coffee and hot cocoa bar by The Roaming Cup, adding a personal and comforting touch. The reception space shimmered with twinkling lights and evergreen garlands, complementing their winter wonderland wedding theme.
Their grand entrance was nothing short of iconic—Sarah and Logan made their debut as newlyweds to What Dreams Are Made Of by Hilary Duff, a nod to their playful and fun-loving personalities. Their first dance to Miracle by Riley Clemmons was a deeply moving moment, illuminated by the soft glow of string lights and the reflection of their love in each other’s eyes.
Leading up to the wedding, Sarah was most anxious about the ceremony and speaking in front of everyone, but in the end, she realized the small details weren’t as important as the love they were surrounded by. The table decor, favors, and welcome table decorations faded into the background as the moments with Logan, their families, and their guests became the true highlight.
Photographing Sarah and Logan’s winter wonderland wedding was a pure joy, from capturing the grandeur of their snowy first look to the emotional, candid moments they shared throughout the day. Sarah and Logan shared that what they appreciated most was how comfortable they felt in front of the camera and how I provided clear direction while keeping the energy light and fun.
Their kind words mean the world:
“We loved it! You were amazing and didn’t make us feel awkward at all. You weren’t quiet or hesitant—you took charge in the best way. We felt so comfortable with you, and you helped us make decisions when we needed to.”
Sarah’s biggest advice for couples planning their wedding? “Don’t stress over the little things. At the end of the day, what truly matters is the love you share and the people who are there to celebrate with you.”
Looking back, Sarah and Logan wouldn’t change a thing about their winter wonderland wedding, and neither would we. Their day was a beautiful reflection of their love, filled with unforgettable moments, stunning details, and a whole lot of joy.
Sarah and Logan, thank you for letting me be a part of your incredible day. Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and—of course—snowy magic.
A dream wedding takes a dream team, and Sarah and Logan had an incredible group of vendors to bring their winter wonderland wedding vision to life:
