Autumn and Bradley’s Haldeman Mansion wedding was a true celebration of love, faith, and joy—with spring blossoms, heartfelt vows, and cozy, rain-kissed portraits that made the day all the more memorable. Located in Bainbridge, PA, the Haldeman Mansion offered historic stone textures, open fields, and a view of the Susquehanna River that felt peaceful and grounding, even amidst some moody skies.
Their love story began in the most classic of ways: as neighbors. They lived in the same building for over a year without ever crossing paths—Bradley busy with work and running, Autumn immersed in college coursework. But in God’s timing, they finally met in 2021 and hit it off immediately. Now, several years later, they’ve stepped into a new chapter—marriage—with just as much joy as that very first day.
Their wedding day began with a tender first look outside the mansion, filled with laughter, tears, and one unforgettable embrace. Despite a little drizzle, the couple chose to see each other before the ceremony, a decision that gave them space to connect, ease their nerves, and enjoy a few private moments before the celebrations began.
Autumn and Bradley’s Haldeman Mansion wedding ceremony took place beneath a rustic wooden arch adorned with wildflower-inspired florals, set against the riverbank and framed by the property’s signature flowering trees. Even with rain in the forecast, the happy couple leaned into the unpredictability of the day. Guests arrived wrapped in blankets and warm coats, and groomsmen stood proud in lavender ties and navy suits. The couple’s shared joy was palpable—from the way Bradley squeezed his eyes shut as Autumn walked down the aisle to the big, belly laughs they exchanged during their vows. Their priest officiated, adding a personal, heartfelt touch that made the entire moment feel intimate and true to who they are.
The reception, hosted under a large white tent, was cozy and spirited. Guests sipped warm drinks, shared stories, and cheered as Autumn and Bradley shared their first dance. From emotional parent moments to their laughter during the cake cutting, the celebration was full of togetherness.
As the evening continued, the celebration came to life under the soft glow of string lights and the cozy cover of the reception tent. Laughter echoed across the dance floor as guests kicked off their shoes and joined Autumn and Bradley in a carefree night of dancing. From sweet sways during their first dance to playful spins with bridesmaids in puffer jackets, the night felt relaxed and full of joy. Even as the rain lightly threatened to arrive, everyone was dancing under twinkle lights and we were able to wrap up the night with a sparkler sendoff that lit up the rainy sky.
One of the best parts of hosting a Haldeman Mansion wedding is the peaceful, tucked-away feel of the property—it truly feels like you’re stepping into a storybook. The open ceremony lawn gave guests a stunning view of the Susquehanna River behind the altar, and the surrounding trees brought just the right amount of privacy and natural beauty. I do recommend getting ready off site, as the house on the property is the owners home. He’s gracious enough to allow couples to use it, but it’s not a designated getting ready space.
The day after their wedding, Autumn and Bradley honored a deeply meaningful part of their faith by being sealed in a sacred ceremony at the Washington D.C. Temple of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. In their tradition, a sealing represents an eternal bond—not just “til death do us part,” but a commitment that transcends this lifetime. The rain came down steadily, but it only added to the beauty of the moment. Guests gathered with umbrellas and joyful hearts as the newlyweds exited the temple to a flurry of bubbles and cheers.
And instead of rushing off, they made the most of the weather and leaned into what they love most—being together. With a shared love of books and a long-standing tradition of ice cream dates, we turned the afternoon into a little date-day session. First stop: La Gelatteria for gelato. The joy on their faces was unmistakable—sweet treats in hand, soaking in the moment, the marriage, and each other. From there, we visited Kensington Row Bookshop, where they wandered through the aisles together, pausing for kisses, smiles, and a little literary joy. The cozy corners and colorful spines offered a quiet backdrop to a day that was otherwise filled with noise, love, and purpose.
Autumn and Bradley, your wedding was everything—personal, joyful, and filled with warmth, no matter the weather. Day two felt like a bonus chapter: sacred, sweet, and so full of meaning. Thank you for letting me capture not only your celebration, but also the quiet strength of your faith and the unbridled joy you find in one another.
After receiving their gallery, Autumn wrote:
“We absolutely love the photos!!! They are so beautiful and totally capture our personalities and our special day… We are so excited to have these to look back on for our whole lives.”
